A Boundary Blessing for Triggers

If family/friend dynamics stir old patterns, boundaries can be an act of devotion—not punishment. Choose one sentence you can return to when you feel pulled into people-pleasing or self-abandonment: “I’m going to step outside for a moment,” “I’m not discussing that today,” or “I need to think about it and get back to you.” Pair it with a body cue: soften your jaw, drop your shoulders, feel your feet. Share a boundary you’re practicing this season or ask for help wording one with care and clarity.
